What Students & Parents
Are Saying…
"Mr. Matt is kind and always pushes me to do better. He's patient with me when I get upset that I didn't do something right. Oh, and he lets me play his electric guitar sometimes."
–Jack, Student
11 years old
"My daughter started guitar in 2nd grade with Matt and continues to love attending weekly lessons, 3.5 years later. Matt is very understanding and flexible in scheduling. He is great at helping her learn different techniques with different genres of music, while keeping the songs fun and memorable. Besides guitar playing technique, he even works with her on songwriting, stage presence, and vocals, which is awesome because she dreams of being a songwriter someday."
–Jen K., parent
"My son Jack has been taking lessons from Matt since the start of the year. Jack has had such a great experience working with Matt because he is patient and makes learning fun. As a parent, I've found it very easy to coordinate with Matt, and he always texts after each lesson if there is something my son is struggling with. I can tell Matt is willing to work with Jack wherever he is in his guitar journey. It's a low pressure environment, and for Jack that means a lot. He has been learning at his own pace and doing a great job picking up a skill he knew nothing about a few short months ago. I highly recommend Matt to anyone who asks. It's truly been a great experience."
-Jess G., parent
